Inhabitant of the Pale Blue Dot. Journalist Workshop on Avian Influenza and Other Disaster Preparedness. This week I spent a couple days working with a group of journalists at the Vietnam Journalists Association. In partnership with the US State Department and the Broadcasting Board of Governors. As the title here suggests, the workshop was primarily focused on influenza and disaster preparedness, which feels particularly relevant given the recent discoveries of bird flu in nearby China and Singapore.
